After joining a large corporate as a graduate, I realised that corporate life wasn’t for me. The project nature of executive search work appealed for me, I enjoy the flexibility, variety, and the fact you get to learn about a huge range of different industries within technology. I love that Erevena is a very dynamic environment to be in, and you’re given autonomy early on.

I joined Erevena in September 2024 after two years at a boutique search firm and 8.5 years with a large, listed recruitment business- a journey that originally brought me from South Africa to London. Erevena had always been on my radar, and joining was a very intentional move. I knew I wanted to specialise deeply in B2B software and GTM leadership hires, and in my view, Erevena does the best work in this space across Europe. The classic saying goes, ‘to be the best, you need to work with the best’ and I genuinely believe that’s true here. From Associates to Partners and across the Platform team, it’s a high-calibre, collaborative environment, and it’s been a great place to grow and contribute.

I joined Erevena in March 2022. I began my career in contingent recruitment but quickly realised I preferred the consultative nature of executive search. After time at a large firm, I knew I wanted a more dynamic and personalised environment, which led me to Erevena. I’m drawn to partnering with founders and investors at pivotal moments, helping them build the leadership teams that shape their companies’ futures. I also love the breadth of impact here, working across everything from FinTech scale-ups to ClimateTech and HealthTech innovators. Having worked at a couple of search firms, in the UK and the US, I had repeatedly heard about the excellence of Erevena and so we finally teamed up in 2018 when I left my Partner role at a boutique search firm and joined Erevena as a Principal in the Consumer team. Since then, I have been continually impressed with the quality the team, our work and the amazing companies we partner with to build out their leadership teams.

I joined Erevena in 2021 as a Senior Associate after starting my career at a larger executive search firm. I wanted to focus on early stage growth companies, and Erevena offered exactly that. We work with some of the most exciting clients in Venture and Private Equity, and the environment supports fast learning and clear progression. I joined Erevena in 2021 as a Senior Associate, attracted by the opportunity to work with international, technology-focused clients. At the time, I was the second person in the Nordics, and being part of building the presence across the region has been a great experience. Watching the team grow across multiple countries has been both challenging and rewarding.
What stood out early on was how people work together — there’s a strong sense of trust and openness, and a supportive, low-ego environment with a clear focus on doing a good job. It’s a culture where accountability and collaboration go hand in hand.
